Intentional living, I’m sure you’ve probably read about it a time or two.
That will be our focus for 2018.
I’ve felt a heavy weight on my heart lately. The kind that can only be that of God himself, telling me it’s okay to slow down; to take time in this season of life, to intentionally live slowly and simply, so that I may enjoy more. To live, more. I feel overwhelmed by stuff, scheduled tasks, and other daily nuisances and notifications.
By choosing to live intentionally we choose to declutter the “stuff” that surrounds us. The physical and emotional items that get in the way of what’s truly important.
With this new year, instead of resolutions I have planned goals. Goals are attainable for me… resolutions sound nice but I end up finding a way to forget about them by February. So for 2018 we have simple, attainable goals!
Goals for the year focused around Intentional Living:
Intentional Spending (and saving) – #nospendjanuary underway!
Spiritual Growth – Start the day with my devotional each morning.
Collect memories not things. By decluttering our stuff we will make room and time for what really matters to us.
Simplify our schedules – Making time for what’s important and brings joy to our lives.
Family comes first. Making more time for quality family time, date nights too!
Self Care – Focusing on joy and positivity; filling my bucket too so I avoid running low.
Healthy Living for the whole family.
